Megan has a business marketing degree from Texas A&M University and started out at A 2nd Cup, a non-profit coffee shop in Houston, Texas.

Being surrounded by a such a highly skilled and passionate coffee community, including the Houston Coffee Collective, helped Megan not only develop coffee skills, but also a passion for how coffee can truly make an impact by becoming part of daily routines and powerful community gathering spaces.

Megan created Wordplay Coffee as a way to brew juicy coffees, offer creative specialty drink menus, and to support the local LGBTQ+ community in Durango, Colorado.
