Wordplay Coffee sources locally roasted beans from Easy Coffee Roasters (81301 Coffee). Together, we developed the Wordplay Blend: 20% Sumatra, 30% Ethiopia, and 50% Guatemala, which makes for a delicious fruit-forward, yet balanced cup.

At the Durango Farmers Market, Wordplay Coffee offers a weekly drink special using unique and local ingredients, oftentimes from other market vendors.

• The Smoked Jimmy - Cacao + smoked Jimmy Nardello pepper syrup, using peppers from the Rohwer’s Farm + espresso + milk

• Coffee Cola - Vanilla + cherry syrup made with Just Peachy Farms cherries + cold brew + tonic water

• Umami Mami - Espresso + honey and pink oyster syrup using Leafcutter Farms mushrooms + thyme and mixed oyster-infused milk

• Flower Child - Honey lavender syrup made with La Plata Lavender + cold brew + lemonade

• Mango Sticky Rice Matcha - Matcha + oat milk + sweetened condensed coconut milk + mango puree

• Mint Chocolate Chip Latte - Mint syrup using Anatolian Farms mint + chocolate syrup + espresso + milk

• Paint the Town Red - Beet syrup made with Homegrown Farm beets, ginger, orange, maple, and warming spices + espresso + milk

• Open Sesame - Tahini + honey syrup + espresso + milk + black sesame whipped cream

• Livin’ on a Pear - Spiced pear + almond syrup using Stone Free Farm pears + espresso + milk

• Carrot Cake Latte - Syrup made with Nature’s Oasis fresh carrot juice, coconut milk, dates, raw sugar, and spices + chai + espresso + milk + cream cheese whipped cream
